12u Cooperstown Payments
Each year we send a team(s) to Cooperstown, New York for an exciting week long baseball tournament. As is typical for most travel programs in our area, 12u teams participate in the Cooperstown event. Teams from around the nation come together for a unique experience near the iconic Baseball Hall of Fame. Players and coaches stay on campus ,in dorms with other teams and share meals and activities together. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 7 games during their time at Cooperstown. There is also a skills competition, a trip to the Hall of Fame, and a number of other exciting opportunities for players and parents to participate in.
This year, our 12u Ewald / Kaplan team will travel to Cooperstown during the week of July 13th - 19th. The significant financial cost of this trip has always been outside the bounds of the typical annual team fees. As such we ask that parents offset the cost. Parents can make payments towards their child's trip directly through our website. We ask that players commit up or down to participating in the Cooperstown trip by 2/1/2024. We will have a follow up meeting Saturday Jan. 20th, 2024 to discuss the specific details for our trip.

Extra Costs
The additional cost is $2,000 per player. That covers the team registration fees, coaches travel expenses, an umpire fee, and the other administrative costs related to coaches travel expenses.
12u Cooperstown Payments
All players participating in the 2024, 12u Cooperstown trip will assume the additional costs of travel, team fees, coaches expenses, and umpire costs. There is a $1,300 player fee to participate in the Cooperstown event. There are a significant number of variable costs associated with Cooperstown in addition to this fee that will be discussed at our 1/20 meeting after practice.
